Grease Filter

This grease filter, used in microwaves, can be located underneath the microwave. The filter traps grease from the exhaust air and removes it from the air stream. This helps prevent grease sticking to the inside of the exhaust hood. Please note that almost microwaves require two grease filters and they are both sold separately. This is an easy replacement washed by simply pulling out old filters and sliding in the new ones. For farther instructions and guidance, refer to the manual provided by the manufacturer. Unplug the microwave from the power source before starting this installation.

Slide grease filter about 1/2 inch to right (or left) using the d-ring attached to one side and then pull downwards and out. Push charcoal filter frame slightly to rear and pry down from front end. Surface lights and filters needed replacement

By pulling the filter screens units down and out with a pair of pliers I had admission to the surface lights. Pulled the lights out of their sockets and replaced the bulbs. Real easy. Since the filter units were out, replaced the filters and reinstalled the filter units. The whole functioning took less than 15 minutes. Read more...

The fill cycles would offset then stop suddenly

This was an piece of cake repair.
1st I removed both water hoses
2d I removed ane hex head screw that released a bankroll plate & removed the plate belongings the h2o inlet valve.
tertiary I pulled the four electrical connections & loosened a clench to remove a pocket-size water hose.
4th I removed ii hex head screws that held the h2o valve to the bankroll plate.
-----------that was a whole 5 - 10 minutes!------------
Next I reversed the process
4th I attached the inlet valve with the 2 hex head screws
5th re-attached the 4 electrical connections(had slip on spades) pushed on the hose & tighterned the clamp.
6th replaced the bankroll plate with the inlet valve attached & tightened the single hex head screw.
7th re-attached the hot & cold lines................................DONE
xv minutes tops
